Today I saw something pretty cool. I was at a stoplight and glanced over to see a blind man trying to cross an intersection. He would start to walk and hesitate and pull back. He did this several times. All of the sudden I saw this other man (who had been seeing the same thing I had seen) come running from the bus stop across the street to help this gentleman cross safely. It was really great to see a fellow man helping another.Although this incident didn't happen to me directly, the effect I felt was pretty awesome and lasted throughout the day!

I just saw thie web link on craigslist. What a great idea.
About two weeks ago I was heading over to get something to eat at Chipotle. I was trying to pull into this tight space but because I was driving my dad's truck I wasn't used to the size and couldn't really get in to the space. This older man walking out came and stood in front of my car and helped to navigate me in the space. It was out of no where and really nice.
Thank you random stranger :)

“If you can't feed a hundred people, then just feed one.”

I love this quote by Mother Teresa because sometimes people use the excuse that they don't have the 'means' to do something big when the truth is, something big can be something very little.

In my line of work we use radios(walkie talkies). My co-worker saved me a trip to the office so it could recharge

We give toys to children fighting cancer every day. It's important to show the world kindness, especially to those who are suffering.

On my way home from work the other day I was caught up in a traffic jam. Looking at the cars in front of me I could see that the fourth car up had stalled. Anxious to get home myself, and expecting the other drivers to start honking horns in frustration, I was surprised when I saw people getting out of their cars and help push the stalled car out of traffic. It was a touching moment I witnessed as the other drivers, smiling and laughing, got back into their cars to carry on with their own journey.

Today the car in front of me paid for my ice cream cone. It was really nice and totally unexpected. It makes me want to do the same thing for someone else. Thanks

My act of kindness is so simple yet overlooked. When I see that someone is being left out or ignored I think about how I can involve them. Most people want to be recognized for their existence. Yesterday I noticed that an old man was being ignored so I just greeted him. He was friendly and needed to be recognized. He had a nice smile and we enjoyed a conversation. I suppose he had not been addressed because he was old and not of the age of the others and also he was new to the group.

I have also noticed that even though people are not new to a group they sometimes do not greet or say something positive to others. Kind of like being in a dead trance. I do appreciate a joyful Good Morning. Upon further reflection I think we enjoy children because they are not yet in that trance. Their joy is infectious. We should be like children that way. Of course, bouncy, bouncy can be annoying but a sincere Good Morning is usually appreciated.

The other day the car in front of me paid for my meal and left me this card. That was awesome. Thank you. I'm plan on paying that one forward.

A effective and cheap way I've found is to just SMILE. You'd be surprised how far a smile can go :)

I had a transplant from back east who was living out of his car over to my place for Thanksgiving dinner with my family.

Give.
