CommentsSammi Tue, 06 Jul 2010 20:35:38 Today I saw something pretty cool. I was at a stoplight and glanced over to see a blind man trying to cross an intersection. He would start to walk and hesitate and pull back. He did this several times. All of the sudden I saw this other man (who had been seeing the same thing I had seen) come running from the bus stop across the street to help this gentleman cross safely. It was really great to see a fellow man helping another.Although this incident didn't happen to me directly, the effect I felt was pretty awesome and lasted throughout the day! Tue, 13 Jul 2010 21:46:09 On my way home from work the other day I was caught up in a traffic jam. Looking at the cars in front of me I could see that the fourth car up had stalled. Anxious to get home myself, and expecting the other drivers to start honking horns in frustration, I was surprised when I saw people getting out of their cars and help push the stalled car out of traffic. It was a touching moment I witnessed as the other drivers, smiling and laughing, got back into their cars to carry on with their own journey. Brenda Sun, 15 Aug 2010 20:11:37 Today the car in front of me paid for my ice cream cone. It was really nice and totally unexpected. It makes me want to do the same thing for someone else. Thanks Patricia Mon, 16 Aug 2010 11:01:01 My act of kindness is so simple yet overlooked. When I see that someone is being left out or ignored I think about how I can involve them. Most people want to be recognized for their existence. Yesterday I noticed that an old man was being ignored so I just greeted him. He was friendly and needed to be recognized. He had a nice smile and we enjoyed a conversation. I suppose he had not been addressed because he was old and not of the age of the others and also he was new to the group. Frank Fri, 18 Mar 2011 10:00:43 The other day the car in front of me paid for my meal and left me this card. That was awesome. Thank you. I'm plan on paying that one forward. Karen Tue, 22 Mar 2011 14:40:03 A effective and cheap way I've found is to just SMILE. You'd be surprised how far a smile can go :) Will Tue, 22 Mar 2011 17:42:02 I had a transplant from back east who was living out of his car over to my place for Thanksgiving dinner with my family.
